All of us here at Watauga High School are eager to begin using the laptop computers with our students. The computers are here and are ready. We had hoped to begin deploying the laptops to the students this week. However, the carrying cases for the computers have not arrived. These cases are important for the protection of the computers so we do not want to give them out without the cases. The company sending the cases is doing what they can to get them here as soon as possible. We have been told the latest they will be shipped is September 13th. While we did not want to wait that long to get these computers in the hands of our students, we also want to make sure this is done right to minimize the risk of damage to the computers.
